Nuceiva, commonly called Jeuveau in the United States is an injectable anti-aging solution that reduces the appearance of vertical lines between the eyebrows and wrinkles in other parts of the face. It is a neurotoxin that comes from the Clostridium botulinum bacteria. This toxin prevents muscle contractions where it is injected. Nuceiva has gained the nickname of “Newtox” because it is like Botox, only better. It is the first neurotoxin to be approved in Canada in over 20 years that can be used for wrinkle reduction.

Nuceiva is similar to Botox, Disport, and Xeomin. It has many benefits compared to the other treatments on the market. It is quick and pretty much painless. It’s best not to use it if you have skin that is infected in the area where you wish to have the treatment.
